To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing you because I have to dire need of a digital video camera, I don’t necessarily care about style or make, I just need any camera to capture scenes and great film making for me because I have scripts and amazing ideas just waiting to be made. I have a need to make these things that are waiting. Image this what if you were at a school dedicated to science but you have no why to act out your theories, or that you feel the almost life threatening need to write but you seem to have writer’s block. Image how that would feel, it would be annoying, irritating, but mostly depressing. So please understand this, and help me.
I think that I have so many ideas because I go to a charter school that specializes in filmmaking, and everything along with it. I love acting, and screen writing, but mostly I love East Hollywood High School. They are amazing at teacher things that you would need for film. I do admit that it is hard work, it great work though. Being here has made my creative filmmaking side explode. But with no camera it’s impossible for me to truly let it free and unleash it upon the world. Also it’s a fairly new school so I need to set an example that this school is the real thing, and for the next generations to come to East Hollywood High.
This craving has made me wish to work in the film industry. I wish to be a great director working in Hollywood after I get my degree in film, hopefully, at University of California, Los Angeles. I love filmmaking, and everything it includes. I just need practice though, so that I will be able to get to UCLA. I need this video camera, for my future and need right now that is bursting just to make films. I would not be pleading you for this if I owned a camera, but I have used a few different types for certain student films. I can and will be able to put it to hard work, but the type of hard work that comes out as something great.
Another reason why I am asking is because my family and I don’t have enough money to pay for a luxury such as this. It’s highly expensive, and for my family and I that could be a month of food or bills that have to be paid soon. I have asked many times and saved upwards to three hundred dollars for one when I was around ten years old. But that money I save went somewhere much more important for my family to survive at the hotel where we had be staying at. I feel as if it’s a burden if I ask my parent, so I eventually stopped asking. It made me feel selfish that I wanted something so expensive that at that time I couldn’t even use. But I the desire to have one and to make films burns brighter each day. And I will promise to use it and take incredible care for it. I will care for it as if it was my own life
I know this all sound sad and like a poor sob story. And perhaps you are wondering what you could possibly get from me to make up for the loss of merchandise. I am so willing and so prepared to do almost anything to get this camera. I will be willing to do services like act in commercials, or help with advertisements all for free of course. But I desperately need this. So please if you need something in return I am willing to do it in exchange for a camera.
Please understand everything and help me to reach my full potential and my aspiring dream to be a director. Help to help to future. I thank you for your time to reading this. Thank you for everything.
